To update the existing card is relatively easy - if on a separate SD card:

1)    Make a back up of your existing card by copying the entire card to the computer.

2)    Copy the backup to a new SD card and test it

3)    On the backup card into the IGO folder

          Go into the Content folder

3)  Delete the following folders

         Map
         Poi
         Speedcam
         Building
 

4)    Extract these files from the download.  When you extract the files they should be in their relevant folders. If not then use Winrar instead of Winzip. (do this on a PC – NOT a MAC!)

5)    Copy these folders back onto to the SD card

When you start the unit again it may seem to freeze when it loads the first time and may be slow for about the first 1 – 2 minutes.. this is normal

 

If mapping is internal
 

1) Extract your mapping onto a folder on your computer using a PC (Not a MAC)

           you should have 5 folders

         Map
         Poi
         Speedcam
         Building
         Dem

2) Connect the unit to the PC and copy the entire IGO folder (just in case)

3) Locate these folders in the IGO/Contents folder and delete these folders

4) Copy the new folders back onto to the unit

Only the MAPS, Speed Cameras, POI and Building are updated this time

Usng Winzip or Winrar extract the Contents folder on a PC (will not work on a MAC)

Copy these 4 folders to a USB or SD card

on the unit you need to delete from the internal SD  IGO/Content folder the MAP, POI, Speed Cameras & building folders and once this is done you can copy the folders back in.  If unsure check the video at    https://www.dropbox.com/s/vemkogro3kvoeui/updating%20mapping.mp4?dl=0


If you need to replace your mapping you will need to first uninstall the program, delete the IGO folder and download one of these

Decompress the file and copy the IGO folder to the your stereo unit
Remove the USB
Go To
   IGO
     Install
        install folder and install the IGO iGO_Basar_9.18.27.717219.apk file
